Speak to your Government about the need to end child prostitution, and increase overseas giving. Consider Supporting the plans below.

First we will start with a statistic. There are an estimated 1.2 million children trafficked each year – the majority of them being lured, bribed or forced into the sex-trade. That’s one child every 26 seconds! And many people in the world can't even afford to send their children to school. But we can help.

This has led me to look for ways to address this terrible statistic. The following Website lists the ideas that have been formulated to help the needy. We can not do this alone, as Nations we need to rally to the cry of the poor.

International Action Needed to Stop Child Prostitution

Governments of countries can not allow the prostitution of minors. If the international community can take action to stop Tyrants, and people who commit genocide, surely in the same way we have an obligation to take diplomatic action to stop child prostitution. We need to act together to end this problem it can not be done as individuals. What I am asking is for action from the international community to stop the root causes of Child Prostitution. I ask that the following two point plan be implemented to stop the prostitution of minors with in our generation.

How to do it

Child prostitution is an epidemic in many poor countries. But we have to ask ourselves how to solve this problem. Firstly we need to simply investigate the cause. The fact is that pimps and brothel owners of these countries have enough money to bribe families into selling their children into sexual slavery. Governments and people of all nations boycott industries that promote child slavery. If a country used child slaves to build a line of toys good countries like ours would make it illegal to sell the toys in our country. Now we have to ask ourselves how to remove the culture of sexual slavery. The way I believe to do this is to boycott the sex industries of those nations that allow child sexual slavery to go unnoticed. Currently I am aware that our citizens are not allowed to have sex with minors in these countries and if they do they will be prosecuted locally. What we actually need to do is totally boycott the Sex industries of those nations, preventing the flow of money to those who exploit children. There is no other way to put the pressure on these governments than to risk the Sex trade dollar. While even one child has to suffer legal sexual abuse it is immoral, and unjust to allow our men to fuel the industries that become perpetrator of such inhumane crimes. Make it illegal to engage in prostitution in any nation that allows sex with minors. There is an important economic and human factor to take into account with this plan. If adult prostitution is banned it would put many people in these nations in a crisis situation. This may seem bad, but can be used to our advantage, and easily solved. By giving nations a grace period say six months to clean up their industries, those adults who choose to engage in prostitution will have their jobs protected. Threatening to place a ban on adult trade will motivate the adults to prevent child prostitution.  Cleaning up the industry, and freeing children from slavery. However if the industry refuses to reform, the ban must be put in place. This will then starve the industry into acceptance of our terms.

  1. To table a new international law that governs the sexual activity of minors, a law that states that “no person over the age of 18 can have sex with a girl or boy under the age of 18”. This law must be upheld by all nations of the world.
  2. Once a law has been formulated that protects the rights of young people, nations should take a stand, and peacefully remove children from brothels, and other places of sexual abuse.

Common Objections and Answers

There is a real fear with this plan, and that is that if a boycott was put on the adult sex industry in some countries that there would be a lot of people who would suffer as it is their primary means of income. However we have to weigh up the options, is it a) more just to allow these people to recruit children into the trade, and we sit on the fence, or b) give them six months to reform the industry and then perform the sanction and boycott if they are too evil to change. The fact is that the severity of this plan is actually the reason why it will work. If a woman fears her own food and shelter will be taken away by recruiting children for adults to have sex with, she will keep the children away to protect her own work.

Reduce the Desire in West for Prostitution and Pornography

Another perceived problem that fuels prostitution is the insatiable desire of the West for pornography. Pornography is usually accessed by those unable to find or build lasting relationships. This fear coupled with aroused desire, often drives men to seek out prostitution. We need to be encouraging men that joy in relationships is found in mutual respect, romance, and commitment, not unbridled sexual passion. Pornography often encourages other evil forms of sex like, teen sex, rape sex, and encourages parents to have sex with their own children, all these forms of sexual material have been sent to my in box in the past, so I know they are out there. We suggest that steps be taken to reduce the impact of pornography on our young men with the ultimate goal of removing the problem altogether.

Pornography put stress on marriages, and is counter productive to a society that values commitment and love over passion. However we have all been born into a society that has come to indulge in and treasure nudity. However pornography is addictive, compulsive, and experimental, often progressing from soft forms to hard core porn, even child abuse. We need to be willing as citizens to acknowledge that the disadvantages of porn outweigh its benefits. And formulate a plan to protect future generations for its influence while acknowledging the right of the current generation to continue to indulge its self in its addiction. I propose the following plan to eliminate pornography.

  1. Limit access to damaging forms of porn for the current generation, while allowing them to continue to use it
  2. Ban pornography for the future generations, those too young to have experienced pornography

Legislate or Encourage Free advertising for charities in prime time TV

Televisions are found in the homes of many, but mainly the wealthy. TV influences spending habits, and forms culture. In order to move society towards personal generosity and accountability to the needs of the poor there needs to be a greater percentage of TV advertising directed towards charitable giving. TV broadcasters should be encouraged to display a certain percentage of advertising FREE to charities in prime time TV. As an example two advertisements per night. With regard to FREE TV advertising stations should use 50% of the slots for issues regarding overseas poverty, and the remaining 50% can be used to support any other charities, like cancer, disabled services etc. This split is to stop nations becoming insular and only supporting local causes, while others in poorer nations suffer want. This plan could also be extended to radio. I suggest two advertisements every night in prime time TV, one for world wide poverty elevation one for local charities, this will hardly cause any financial loss the the station but will bring in 100 of thousands of new compassionate dollars each year, possibly millions. But most importantly it will educate people to the needs of the poor, and make them more willing to give once they have the means to do so. TV stations do currently a lot some time to community service announcements however as a viewer I have never seen one. It needs to be in prime time so it actual makes a difference in peoples lives, and needs to be regular. The suggested plan for this is:

Education

Government schools should introduce lessons about giving and helping others in the school curriculum. Education should not all be about numbers, and letters, it should include things that benefit our world. Education is what builds the character of a nation, being taught be more kind and loving will foster a society that focuses on the needs of others.

Nations walk in the shadow of His light
Be guided by His wisdom and insight

Lead your people in a way that is good
Treasure the needy and misunderstood

Build things greater than wealth
A Nation that loves their neighbor as they love themself

May the peace of God rest with you
May He always be with you in all you do

Work together for a better world

Another way to help these Nations is to build industries within their countries. We need to be sitting down and thinking up ways to build industry and share wealth with our poorer neighbors. It can no longer be just about the strength of our own economy, we need to think of those who are in poorer conditions to us. I suggest that incentives be given to our own citizens who wish to build up the education and prosperity of our neighbors. That our university graduates, and skilled labours, be given subsidies for cutting their teeth in their industries overseas. Say a new medical graduate could be given a subsidy for working overseas for their first year after coming out of university. This would give them practical skills, and help improve the quality of education in poorer nations, as they rub shoulders with our skilled graduates. It would also be a great experience for the graduate being able to experience a different culture. The benefit of this plan would be poorer nations with few resources could be taught and helped by our graduates on a rotational basis, as well as our graduates gaining people skills, and some practical experience which would be useful on their return. As an example for School Teachers this would be especially useful, gaining insight into the needs of our friends overseas, as well as contributing to the education of our neighbors, who lack these resources. The experience would give them the skills needed to be a more productive member of our own society. Something as simple as Hair dressing could be useful for these nations.

Governments use your influence to help the poor

It is my desire to see charitable advertising extended to all government buildings and vehicle fleets, and land. Government buildings are frequented by members of the general population the very people who I wish to influence towards charitable giving. So having some form of signage supporting charities boost community giving. Look people the world is in need, do all you can do, even if it sounds childish, what is so wrong with some posters.

I suggest that the government introduce TV like advertising stands in their public offices, or paper based advertising where it is impractical to have a TV like stand, with rotating ads for local and international charities. The governments of nations also have many vehicles that are constantly on the road. These vehicles could have Taxi like advertising stands added to their boots which could increase the number of advertisements for charities, thus fostering greater community awareness of the needs of the people in the world.  Again I suggest the 50% / 50% split for local / to world issues. Also to subsidise the cost of attaching advertisements to fleet vehicles I suggest that 50% of all ads shown on fleet vehicles should be commercial, this money going back into subsidizing the setup of the advertising. Government land could also be used for cheap signage supporting community causes.

Taxation on Company Growth

It is my desire to see a 10% tax for the poor on company investment. If a company makes a return of 9% on investment, i.e. 9% company growth. 10% of the 9% growth must be paid to help the poor. That is a total tax of 0.9%. i.e. if a companies share price increases by $10 the $1 would be given to the poor. 50% to social services in the country of origin, and 50% to the poor overseas. Due to the volatility of the market some times it is up some times it is down, you would not collect the tax on the actual return but on the average return which has been 9.1% over the last 10 years. So the tax would be set at 0.91% each term regardless of whether the actual return was 14% of 4%. Investors are generally rich people who can afford to help the poor. While there are millions of children living in poverty the rich need to be willing to share the small percentage to help them.

Taxation on Government Contracts

So how will this work. Start a new government administered body that gives 50% of its money to needs within the local community, such as medical research, homelessness, disability services, suicide support ect. The other 50% of the money is to be used for the greatest needs in the world, getting children out of child prostitution, ending child slavery, building up poor communities’ economies. Below is a suggested way for this system to work.

The way this is to be funded is not by implementing board based taxation, taking money out of the pockets of families. But rather implemented as a voluntary taxation system on those who tender for government projects, with incentives for those who give. It would work as follows:

For Businesses

For Government

Common Objections

Below are two common objections to this idea and my response to them:

This is a form of bribery, forcing people to give money, to secure contracts.

Firstly bribery is a negative thing, it benefits the individual at the expense of others. Essentially it hurts others and prevents equal competition.

But this plan does not harm equal competition, the selection criteria states that the business awarded the contract must be the best candidate without taking into account giving, only when there are two equally capable businesses (two with matching selection criteria) they are then assessed upon their giving. Giving is not the primary selection criteria. People are selected by their skills first, then when a choice has to be made between the short list candidates and no farther determination can be made giving is factored in. This is not bribery or discrimination, it is just a method used to cause businesses to choose higher tax rates, without this incentive businesses will not be motivated to give adequate tax rates.

As an example from life. We all use services and often times these services are identical. Take for instance moving house, all removalists can do the job. There is a company in Brisbane called Mini Movers, when I visited their office I saw a photo of a child they supported with World Vision. From then on I always thought if I have to move house I will use them. Why, they will give to a good cause, helping the poor, where as the other companies may not. The same applies to this plan to give to the poor, if the government has compassion it would select the company that is prepared to give the most to help others. Think about this idea it is not a cash grab, it is an attempt to help others. To give to a company that refuses to help others is wrong. To give to the generous is right. It is essentially a charity auction on steroids.

If you still feel this is unfair, to use this system, implement I ask that you consider a flat tax on the people tendering. Say 10%. It is only fair that people who benefit from government business return benefit to the community. And while there are needs in the world we need to do more. Wage earners don't earn 100's of thousands of dollars, some businesses do. Business needs to be held accountable to the poor. The only problem with a flat 10% tax on tenders is some business types can't calculate the profits from a contract so their would need to be exemption categories. So in my opinion the voluntary system would work best because you can give a donation.

This plan will put undue stress on industry.

Firstly it is my opinion that money must be spent. Children can’t be sold as prostitutes, and families can’t live on garbage tips. So where does this come from. The government already has incentives to help with tax breaks etc. But more is needed. While poverty exists we have to think of new ways to help. So taxation is needed, you have to gain money from some where it does not grow on trees. But how can you make a fair taxation system. Think about this system, business choose their own tax rate. No business will choose a rate that will put them out of business. This new law states that businesses can even elect to pay no tax. This system is also flexible as the economy goes up or down the tax rate can be adjusted to the current economic climate. Broad based fixed taxation will kill some industries, but this system works with in businesses ability to give. In short it will not stress industry.

As you can see this system will not take money out of the pockets of every day citizens, and will not put stress on industry as industry only gives what it can afford. This system will foster a culture of giving within industry. Social services within Australia will benefit for this plan. So industry will be giving back to Australia. A key part of the Apostles doctrine to the early church was to “remember the poor”, we should not forget those outside our borders who suffer poverty and poverty related social problems.

Stand up for social services in your country, and add your voice to the cry of the poor. I ask if you value this plan to pass it on with passion to all those you have contact with, asking them to forward the following letter on to their friends and most importantly to politicians adding your support to this idea. Also if you feel passionately about this idea, or have any suggestions to make, contact me

Send and Email to your countries politicians asking them to bring before the United Nations (UN) the above plans to help the poor.

The following is a copy of the letter that was sent to the Nations of the World. It is a bit outdated now as many new plans have been added since this was released. Please ask your Nations to support its calls for reforms.

Greetings,

This is a very important letter that needs your immediate attention. I sent an email to the UN on the 8 January 2014 detailing some very simple plans aimed at helping the poor and needy people of the world. Not having the ability to present these ideas in a way that can be lawfully recognized I need a nation like yours capable of showing compassion to present them to the United Nations in a way that will cause to ideas to be discussed officially. The following Idea was not presented to the UN but I would now like it included.

Child prostitution is an epidemic in many poor countries. But we have to ask ourselves how to solve this problem. Firstly we need to simply investigate the cause. The fact is that pimps and brothel owners of these countries have enough money to bribe families into selling their children into sexual slavery. However if the industry refuses to reform, the ban must be put in place. This will then starve the industry into acceptance of our terms.

I also ask that this idea be bought before the UN for universal acceptance.

The letter sent to the UN previously as follows:

START LETTER TO UN

As you would be aware there is a great inequity between the nations of the world. Some are prosperous, others prosper in part, while some suffer from poor living conditions.

John the Baptist the contemporary to Jesus said to those who wished to obey God:

Luke 3:11 He answered them, "The person who has two coats must share with the one who doesn't have any, and the person who has food must do the same."

As Nations we need to return to God’s principals, to obey His words. I believe there are two simple things that God is asking of the wealthy nations of the world, and that is a free will offering to help our poor neighbours, by doing the following.

Televisions are found in the homes of many, but mainly the wealthy. TV influences spending habits, and forms culture. In order to move society towards personal generosity and accountability to the needs of the poor there needs to be a greater percentage of TV advertising directed towards charitable giving. The model that I would like to see implemented by nations is as follows. Nations should be accountable to help their own people, and also think of there poorer neighbors. To do this governments should, legislate where possible, or if they can not legislate due to law other wise actively encourage advertising for charities in Prime Time TV, not dead slots, 50% of advertisements for local charities, and 50% of time for overseas causes. As an absolute minimum two advertisements per day, in Prime Time TV, Prime Time being the times when the most viewers are watching TV.

Secondly nations must introduce lessons into Schools on the importance of giving to others, and helping people in greater need than ourselves. I recommend one half hour lesson every semester of study, in both primary, and secondary schools. This will encourage future generations to be supportive of their neighbors and help them in there times of need.

Below are some notes on the reasons for doing the above. Some nations like Australia do have a small percentage of air time dedicated to charities, offered by the networks. However it is not enough to make the kind of impact that I wish to see. I live in Australia and have almost never, on only a few occasions seen an advertisement for a charity. Famous brands like Coke are only prominent because they spent a large amount on advertising. Advertising for charities needs to be prominent and continuous. Having tried to advocate the cause of the poor I have found that a relatively small percentage of people respond. Reaching this willing percentage is vital, and mass media is a key to activating these compassionate people. Charities can not be expected to pay to reach this audience.

I ask that these two things be put forward as a treaty to be signed by nations. That signes will commit to at minimum 2 advertisements in Prime Time TV to help the needy. And will commit to educate their people to the needs of the poor, and the need to care for others. I ask that this be called the 3:11 treaty in remembrance of the words of John the Baptist, in his passion for the poor.

END LETTER UN

A note of clarification regarding my letter to the UN, when I say there should be 2 advertisements per day, this is per network. Each TV station within a country would be required to run a minimum of 2 ads per Prime Time slot. i.e. if there were 3 TV stations in a city each Network would run 2 ads, totalling 6 ads in that city. These ideas are further discussed at http://www.futureandahope.net/poorhelp.php

These ideas may seem simple but will help increase charitable giving, supplementing government budgets. Below is a third idea I would like to see implemented by the UN but was not mentioned in the first letter.

ADDITIONAL NEW IDEA
It is my desire to see charitable advertising extended to all government buildings and vehicle fleets. Government buildings are frequented by members of the general population the very people who I wish to influence towards charitable giving. Also to subsidise the cost of attaching advertisements to fleet vehicles I suggest that 50% of all ads shown on fleet vehicles should be commercial, this money going back into subsidising the setup of the advertising.

Support Charities that free Sex Slaves

Consider supporting a charity when ever you can that rescues young girls from the sex trade. Destiny Rescue is an organization that I support that does this.

Some of the Horrors of North Korea as reported by Prison guards, Government Officials, and others.

This has now been moved to its own page, complete with references, go to Human experimentation, beatings, rape, malnutrician, in North Korea.

Religious and cultural vilification Laws

There is a problem in the world that often people are imprisioned only for their freedom of speech. I declare that this is not good enough in todays society, of tollerence, and care. No one should be imprisioned for a belief or difference of opinion. The only pretext for imprisionment is if the person is promoting a belief that is calling for violent overthrow of the current government, there should be the freedom to talk freely about your religion or belief with people who wish to listen, it is rude and aggresssive to impose restrictions on the beliefs of others. If the person lives in a society where the society is not tolerant of their belief, the country can not imprision or otherwise harm the person, the person should be exiled to a country that shares that persons belief or is willing to accept them. Blasphemy, Apostacy, etc is not a good enough reason for harming or imprisioning an individual. They must be allowed to live in peace in their own country, if they can not live in safely they must be safely escorted to a safe country.
